A 28 yr old,M,H with complain of recurrent swelling/outgrowth on the upper gum with no pain,discharge, fever.The patient has a history of braces for 1 year.Diagnosis and T/t please.

D/d-periapical abscess, lateral periodontal abscess. Adv-vitality test, IOPA.

Perodental abscess/ periapical abscess Antibiotics, Nsaid, Dental surgeon for further treatment

If you haven’t noticed for any decay , please do take a periapical radiograph to see for any endodontal and periodontal status . After evaluation can how either for a deep curratage/ Rct what so ever is mandatory .

Peri apical abscess,ref to Dentist

Mucocele surgical removal needed

SUGGESTIVE. OF PERIAPICAL PATHOLOGY ADVISABLE IOPA FNAC

Mucocele. Excision biopsy.

Refer this case to dental surgeon... It may be periapical abscess..or may be periodontal absessss .. Need radiographic examination... And further treatment plan......
