A 40-year-old male reported with this huge neck mass. A year back he was told that it was not cancer and that he should follow up with a dentist, but he did not see a dentist at that time. He takes no medications and denies smoking, drinking, and drug use. What is diagnosis according to you?

Nodular swelling over the angle of rt mandible and over the poster inferior post aucular region. May be due to A. Parotid tumour B. Lymphadenitis USG of the lump or FNAC or biopsy may be cofirmatory.

If its infective or inflammatory, the swelling might be tender. Rule out any infective causes. Check for facial nerve function. Do not do a biopsy right away if you are suspecting tumor in order to avoid seeding of the tumor I would suggest to do a USG or MRI ( if available ) to help us gain more insight

Paratoid tumour.. Tumor of salivary gland. The most common problems in the salivary gland occur when the ducts become blocked and saliva cannot drain. Causes include dehydration, smoking and exposure to radiation. Most salivary tumors are noncancerous, and small blockages may pass without treatment.
