A 53 yr old lady come in opd c/o itching pain burning Sweeling since 2 days please suggest treatment and diagnosis

Whole right half of the face is involved...Left half seems to be normal... May be an insect bite???,seems to be an inflammatory reaction to the allergen... T.FEXOFENADINE 180 at night for itching Betamethasone valerate oinment to relieve inflammation... Any analgesics for pain... Follow up the patient for fever and rule out infections and other DDs...

Herpes zoster ophthalmicus....give tab.zovirax 800mg 5 times daily x 7-10 days.acivir eye ointment 5 times daily.cyclomid eye drop 2 times dailyx1 week.Lubricant(refresh liquigel eye drop) 4-6 times daily

D.D : * acute viral conjunctivitis. * acute dacryocystitis.

This looks like allergic dermatitis.

Allergic conjunctivitis Betnesol n eye drops 2 hrly Neosporine H oint at bed time Antiinflamatory analgesic tds Tab allegra 120 mg 1/2 bd Tab cefexime c v 200 mg bd for cellulitis For 5 days

It may be a herpes zoster or cellulitis Bee sting also considerable
