Focal Nephronia

A 58 year old female came to op with complaints of lower abdominal pain. No other complaints K/c/o T2Dm, SHTN on irregular treatment. Usg shows ?focal nephronia.. Reffered this case to higher center. Kindly interpret this case!. Tq doctors.

58/F..k/c/o: dm2/shtn -focal nephronia means acute focal bacterial pyelonephritis. -shows there is accumulation of microbial flora with inflammatory mediators. -in such cases ptn needed to evaluate with reports like cbc..esr..urine r/m..sos urine c/s..RFT -such cases mostly referred for hospitalization. -in such cases percutaneous drainage required to do. if infection progressed in to renal abscess. -higher iv antibiotics required.
