A 7 years child with Anisometropic amblyopia presented had vision CF in Right eye and 6/36 in Left eye Cycloplegic refraction done with -14.00 DS in Right eye and -3.50/-1.00*135 in Left eye. Right myopic fundus Left fundus NAD What should b the management and Prescription in this scenario??? And patching therapy will b effective??? Frequency of patching??? Kindly answer...

Very difficult In such cases maximum difference of power may be -5 D sph ; if right eye visual acuity with - 8 or- 9 Dsph improves my preference is recommendation of this prescription. Patching may be recommended

Rt eye high myopia with myopic fundus and vision is C/F Lt eye moderate compound myopia Please tell exact vision after putting glasses If with glasses vision improves If remains same in high myopic side after using glasses do macular examination by retina specialist

It is difficult to give glasses as there is a big difference in the refractive powers. My opinion is that to correct some of the myopia in right eye with LASIK and then give glasses.

Patching therapy can be started now also. Duration is 7 hrs per day for atleast 5 days in a week. Anisokenia will be developed if that child used spectacle. Better choice is contact lens.
