Constitutional treatment is needed according to full case history. I roughly suggest CALCAREA CARB, NATRUM MUR.

Alopecia areata/ totalis most frequently shows association with autoimmune thyroid disease. (possibly in this case) Others like type 1 DM, vitiligo, atopy. Any nail findings??? Trichoscopy to differentiate from telogen effluvium. Test for TSH receptor stimulating autoantibodies. Antithyroid medication needs to be considered. For alopecia Initial treatment is Topical steroid therapy.
