A male aged 56 years complaints of Progressive Dysphagia (solids> liquids) since 2 months....He has also history of Loss of Appetite and loss of 6 kg in 2 months...comment on his Barium Swallow film and discuss the characteristic finding

Barium esophagram demonstrates 1) A suddenan change in the diameter of the esophagus, 2) Annular stricture of the thoracic esophagus. 3) masslike shouldering at the proximal extent of the lesion 4) Filling defects are present in esophageal lumen. 5) Dilatation of proximal oesophagus is seen Findings are most consistent with esophageal carcinoma
