It is really a rare, case of benign endometrial stromal tumour , nicely presented by Dr Jagriti Bhardwaj in Experts Insights Curofy clinical case .The main curiosity was clinically it looked like a uterine fibroid and USG report was also in favour of it It was the pathological examination which proved the diagnosis. Removal of tumour was important because it was symptomatic with menorrhagia. Also it may later on progress to endometrial sarcoma - but incidence is very low. Endometrial stromal tumors are interesting due to their rare existence and difficulties in establishing a histological diagnosis. Although endometrial stromal nodules are benign entities, they must be differentiated from the other invasive malignant stromal tumors, which may change the final prognosis. No preoperative diagnostic tools are at hand, and benign as well as malignant tumors are treated with hysterectomy.

Thank you
