HSP is an autoimmune disorder. This is when the body's immune system attacks the body's own cells and organs. With HSP, this immune response may be caused by an upper respiratory tract infection. Other immune triggers may include an allergic reaction, medicine, injury, or being out in cold weather.. Although there is no specific treatment for HSP, you can use over-the-counter pain medicines, such as acetaminophen or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), such as ibuprofen and naproxen for joint pain. In some cases, corticosteroid medication may be used.
Hsp envolves small blood vessels and joints. No specific treatment. But acetaminophen or NSAIDS like iburofen and naproxen used, in some cases corticosteroid helpful
Self resolve, no specific treatment, for joint pain, abdominal pain, swelling give NSAIDS eg Ibuprofen.
HSP....symptomatic treatment Steroid only in severe cases Maintain hydration Close follow up required
ADVISABLE . NSAIDS AND CORTICOSTEROID
Steroids, methotrexate 15mg/wk
NASID AND CORTICOSTEROIDS
