Need to rule out malignant ovarian tumour. If CT has not been done , it can be done CA125, CEA , suggested . Laparoscopic excision of mass, biopsy . If frozen section facilities are available, better decision can be made during ovariectomy itself. Preop PETCT gives valuable information.
Ovarian tumor? Size, simple, Dermoid or teratogenic,or suspected malignancy?
