A50 years old female pt. Come with severe pain in the lower back ..Radiating in both lower limbs . The pain has been treated almost 6 ...7 years but no relief has been found . She feel difficultly in daily basis routine. Here is her MRI ...What are the possible diagnosis and treatment????

Spinal stenosis with facetitis and prolapsed disc with degenerative changes and thecal sac indentation Quite advanced PIVD Best option is surgical intervention to decompress the roots and release narrowed spinal canal Followed by physiotherapy

It is lumbar pivd with radiculopathy..no significant compression, and no clinical indication for surgery. Can be treated by medication followed by physiotherapy after pain decreases. Can consult Neurologist for better outcome.

First of all release her tightness of hamstrings, calf, adductors & piriformis. Nerve stretch & Flossing for radiating pain. Core strengthening ex. Gradually progress to extension exercises. Advice ergonómical positions while she is doing ADLs. Ice pack for pain relief.
