Discoloration in the middle back

A 26-year-old male came with discoloration in the middle of the back which he states appeared 2 months ago. It is noted on both sides of the middle of the back, but more prominent on the left side. It appears somewhat dry and scaly. Denies itching or discomfort. Pt reports he did receive a massage from a massage therapist who used cannabis massage cream but doesn’t know If the discoloration was there prior to the massage. Recommendations? Possible fungal infection?
