Adenocarcinoma of the prostate.

Chief Complaint A 62 y/o male referred for the raised PSA level of 5.8 ng/mL. History 1-2 years back his PSA was around 0.5 ng/mL. He is Diabetic. No other commodity. Diagnosis He was diagnosed with adenocarcinoma of the prostate. Treatment What treatment line should be followed?

He is tobe treated depending upon 1. Histological grade of the tumour 2.Staging of the disease 3.Gleason 's score and index . 4.Bone scan Considering age 62 Best option is Tab bicalutamide 50 mg O.D Inj .leuprolide 22.5 mg every 3 months for 2 years
