Nasal Congestion in pregnant lady

Female patient age 33 years old primi, 25 weeks pregnant, facing very bad nasal congestion since last 2 months. Nasoclear nasal spray is not working, No effect by using Duonase nasal spray , Otrivin is contraindicated in pregnancy but patient gets relief only with Otrivin. Oral antihistamines also didn't work on her. Respected doctors please suggest what else can be used? Please advice if we can use Otrivin nasal drops BD/TDS for remaining 15 weeks? Her NT-NB scan is normal, Dual & Quadruple markers are normal, Level 2 scan is normal and no other abnormality or problem in pregnancy till now.

Infact what she needs is decongestants But absolute contra indication Yes sinarest vapocap or karvol kaplets inhalation frequently or steam inhalation with vicks vaporub Plain nasokind-s nasal spray may be tried

Otrivin is not a drug which is contraindicated in pregnancy. But it should not be used continuously more than 1wk. So can use oral antihistamines fexophenadine BD dose. Avoid using saline if no crusting is detected.

Karvol steam inhalation followed by cotsol nasal drop and rest. Levocet 5mg bd. Multivitamins and antioxidant orally. Take glass of water one hour before or after the meal.

Adv her to steam inhalation Apply only one drop of cold clear with a cotton near nostrils Joshanda nazla 50 ml two times a day it's safe in pregnancy

Take Karvol steam inhalation three times daily, Tab Levocet 5mg bd Tab VITAMIN C 500 one daily, nasal drop Zoamet drop tds

Give tab sinarest bd and plain water steam tds. Refer to ent doctor to examine nasal cavity.
Valuable opinion.. Patient examined by ENT doctor already. He prescribed steroid sprays but nothing worked for her except Otrivin and it's contraindicated in pregnancy.
