CORADS 5 BUT swab test negative h,/o fever on & off , mild body pains.

Age 45 yrs male complaints fever on off since from 10 days and no cold & no cough but mild body pains. Covid test done at govt health center shows negative & HRCT Chest shows GGO - CORADS 5. Can we treat with Favipiravir 200mg according to ICMR guidelines ? Dear doctor please suggest further evaluation and Treatment in these case especially. Thanking you

Need to check proinflammmatory markers, DDimer, serum creatinine, LDH, If these are abnormal, and SPO2 is less than 94, suggest admission and Inj Remidisivir, steroids, LMWH/ NOAC ,O2 If these are negative, patient has no SOB, SPO2 is above 94, home isolation can be given Fabipiravir in usual doses, methyl prednisolone, Azithromycin, and NOAC like Elliquis can be given at home.

CORAD5 is enough to put on rx for covid19 infection Under ICMR protocols Yes favipiravir 200mg x8tab bd for 1st day and 600mg 1bd for next 4days Tab azithromycin 500mg 1od Rest supportive treatment Sos steroids

No we don't need to treat with Favipirabir without Involvement of lung parenchyma as viral pneumonitis
