Yes , with the consultation of nephrologist the safe antibiotics are Azithro Doxy Cefixime AMOXICILLIN But required regular monitoring and constant evaluation of the pt condition. Dose should be adjusted after RFT and S creatinine report.

Yes, When renal functions are compromised, utmost care should be taken for antibiotic administration. Cefruoxime 250 mg BD.x 5 days.

Can use cefuroxime 250 bd

Pen VK: No dose alteration needed. 2)Amoxicillin: No dose adjustment. 3)Azithromycin: Avoid Azithromycin in patients with Liver disease. 4)Clindamycin: 5)Metronidazole (Flagyl) 6)Tetracycline HCL: Avoid Tetracycline HCL with Liver Disease. 7)Doxycycline: No dose change needed with kidney/live/kidney & liver disease.

At creatinine of 5.5, antibiotic need to be used with renal dose adjustment T. Cefixime can be used at dose of 200 mg once daily Injectable antibiotic Cetriaxone, Cefoperazone with sulbactum and linezolid do not need drug dose modification in CKD
