P/D-Oral melanotic macule. It is a flat, brown, solitary or multiple mucosal discoloration of oral mucosa, which is produced by a focal increase in melanin deposition along with an increase in melanocyte count. Thanks

SUGGESTIVE OF ORAL. MELANOCANTHOMA LICHENIFIED . MELANOSIS DD FRICTIONAL. LICHENIFIED PIGMENTATION . ..... AMALGAM. RESTORATION INDUCED ADVISABLE BIOPSY.... TO. RULE. OUT. MALIGNANT. CHANGES
Good differentials from Dr. Haritma, Good explanation from Dr. Saloni, Good answers from Dr. Kausar, Dr. Dinesh Dr.kute Ankush and Dr. Sabista .. Here visual shows Black and Brown pigmentation in the internal aspect of mucosa in Right cheek in the middle aged female may be Naevus or Melanoma. But here the pigmentation in middle aged person more favour to Benign lesion. Even though, Biopsy for HPE is recommended in this case to ruled out Melanoma (Malignant melanoma is more prevalent in this area) Oral Melanoacanthoma, is benign pigmentation of oral mucosa in uncommon, but more prevalent in middle aged woman. So exclude by solitary raised Brownback pigmentation and asymptomatic... It is benign condition. Biopsy is confirm the disease.
