The Indian herb Bacopa monnieri - Most commonly referred to as Brahmi in Ayurveda. Out of the outnumbered benefits this herb can offer. Which of the following do you prefer as the Most common indication to Prescribe Brahmi or it's Classical preparations?

It's used in Prajasthapan kashaya by charak... Due to sheeta virya used in vata saman Tikta , kashaya ras for pitta, kapha saman Madhur vipak for pitta saman All roga due to tridosh janya so it's tridosh shamak, but charak add in various formulation and kashaya according to vyadhi due it's action on vyadhi(Anga). Like shiroroga- unmand, apasmar Vandhtya- pitttaja yoni vgapad Amlapitta- piitaj vikar Jwar-pittaj jwar etc...

All options are inter related.. Brhami mainly used as medhya rasayana it also used in anidra thus increasing immunity and as it works on nervous system it pacifies stress so works on htn induced by stress.
