Recurrent ingrowing type nail I prefer partial (1/4 th) nail removal with scooping of nail bed This prevents the that part of nail growing again, this takes care of ingrowing type nail
What about soft tissue on outer aspect of ingrowing toe nail- which in some patients - particularly obese is,hypertrophied

Take care of personal hygiene to prevent paronychia & onychomycosis. Shoes with wide toe box to be used. Nail cutter to be used for cutting of nails straight (not in the corners)
Avoid tight shoes, wear open toed footwear. Cut nails squarely, without going too close to pulp ,in the ends of nail. Cleaning the nail bed daily and keeping it dry .
Thank you,Doctor

Avoid cutting nails too short and cutting unevenly at the corners. Cut straight across. Make sure your socks and shoes fit properly. You should be able to wiggle your toes easily in your shoes. Avoid trauma to the toe area.
Better to avoid tight shoe for 9 to 12 months & candid drops on nails
Thank you doctor
