WORLD LIPID DAY- 10 TH MAY

ON WORLD LIPID DAY TODAY 10TH MAY 2020 - I am happy to post the latest original research paper published last night on 9th May 2020 in BMC medical education open access journal by TELLE- HANSEN et al Correspondence- vtelle@oslomet.no Faculty of health sciences, Oslo Metropolitan university, St Olavspass 0130, OSLO NORWAY. TITLE - A Comprehensive metabolic profiling of the metabolically healthy obese phenotype . The ever increasing prevalence of obesity constitutes a major health problem world wide.A subgroup of obese individuals have been described as ' metabolically healthy obese '(MHO ) , in contrast to metabolically unhealthy obese(MUO) , the MHO phenotype has a favorable risk profile. Despite this , the MHO phenotype is still sub- optimally characterized with respect to a comprehensive risk assessment. The aim of this study was to increase the understanding of metabolic alterations associated with healthy and unhealthy obesity . The concentrations of VLDL IDL and LDL subgroups were overall significantly higher and HDL subclasses lower in MUO compared to MHO. VLDL and IDL subclasses were significantly lower and HDL subclasses were higher on NW ( normal weight) compared with MHO .The concentrations of isoleucine leucine and valine was significantly higher in MUO as compared with MHO and the concentration of phenylalanine was lower in NW Subjects compared with MHO. The fatty acid profile in MHO was overall more favorable compared to MUO THANKS

Prevalence of obesity is major health problem, have subgroup of metabolically healthy obese and(MHO) and metabolically unhealthy obese( MUO) . These groups increase understanding of metabolic alterations in both. The fatty acid profile in MHO found more favorable compared to MUO. Thisis found important in obesity

Thanks for sharing such a comprehensive topic. Change in life style ,lack of exercise ,mental stress ,target orientated life and service and fast food lack of sleep hours go on are the major cause of MHO AND MUO.
