29 yr old male with RTA. Basicervical ICNF with some IT component.Didnt do DHS as posteromedial wall seemed defficient. Was there any better option? comments on fixation? post op advice?

Nice work. There is continuity of calcar medially,good enough. Good reduction and fixation. Keep non weight bearing for six weeks After that graduated weight bearing

I will go for dhs and derotation screw unfotunately both screws are short and not going upto sunchondral bone

Femoral neck screws could have been longer. It would be better if you have used long pfn. Rest it's good

Reduction is good. Screws should have been longer. Better to tell pt not to wt bear for 6 weeks.

Well reduced. Derotation screw could've been longer and lower down, close to the calcar.

For such fractures pfn is not a choice of implant by any literature
True sir..but for DHS we need posteromedial cortex intact,which was not the case here.Also here along with basicervical icnf there is also an intertrochanteric component.So we thought of a short pfn.
