Can arterio-venous malformations be diagnosed before they rupture ?

Cerebral A- V malformations can be diagnosed by Cerebral angiography CT Scan of brain MRI scan of brain In limbs - AV malformations diagnosed by colour doppler study of limb vessels

Answer is yes ,it can diagnose before they rupture. AVM can produce head ache ,seizures and at time with weakness, visual symptoms etc . Some times found often a brain scan for another brain issue

Usually diagnosed after rupture and hemorrhage. Accidentally it can be diagnosed while treating or diagnosing another disease
