Case of Pneumothorax

Chief Complaint A 34 y/o female presents with cough, chest pain and shortness of breath. History He has h/o Diabeties and pneumothorax 8 months back as well and underwent surgical procedure for the same. She is pregnant with second child. The first delivery was normal with healthy child. Investigations FEV1 - 86% TLC- 115 % predicted Chest x ray shows left-sided pneumothorax. Treatment What should be the treatment of this case?

Needs to see for histiocytosis x or lymphangioleiomyomatosis. ICD in short term. Post partum, Combination therapy with oophorectomy, tamoxifen and or progesterone.

She needs regular follow up Hope icd was already kept Need monitoring Protein def is the commenest thing we encounter in icu Need to supplement that Look for electrolyte imblance and Look for any infection at the site of icd need regular dressing

Admit patient in ICU ICD O2 support Bronchodilator Antibiotics IV
