As young man is a c/o OCD psychological causes are to be applied Choosy eater this that afraid of eating More conscious of wt or obesity R/o systemic factors Chest TB or any chr lung disease Hematology anaemias Heart any congenital heart disease Liver disease Thyroid hyperthyrodism Etc etc

Body dysmorphism Conscious efforts to reduce weight or to keep it to minimal. Another reason can be anorexia nervosa. It also depends on the type of OCD symptoms the patient is suffering from. Kindly throw some light upon that. Other worth investigating causes can be- -Hyperthyroidism -Pituitary gland dysfunction -infectious causes needs to be ruled out. Koch's disease.

SUGGESTIVE OF HYPERTHYROIDISM(IF ITS NORMAL) IT CAN BE DUE TO HYPERMETABOLISM.

Check for hyperthyroidism.

Done, TFTs are normal. Asked for a free T3, free T4 , TSH again as well as HBA1C

USUALLY.. IN CASES OF.. OCD.. UNDER TREATMENT.. THERE IS A.. WEIGHT GAINING.. NEED'S.. HORMONAL STUDY WITH.. ENDOCRINOLOGIST OPINION..

A Detailed history is required. It is not clear that pt is OCD or having a Anancastic Personality. Reason of wt loss may b that he is Anorexic being more conscious to wt gain. Management may b planned accordingly to ascertain the Diagnosis

Opinion of medicine specialist to exclude organicity with total blood profile ex.bloodfor CBC... sugar...f..pp..urea..creat.lipids..lfts..frre t4.tsh..xray chest pa...USG whole abdomen and others as necessary...then go for psychological reasons with details history sleep patterns..drugs now taking etc...then as per report...start treatment..... check up by a physician is a must
