Central Vein Occlusion treated with sharp recanalisation technique.

Adult female dialysis dependant CKD patient presented with left upper limb swelling since one month. Left brachiocephalic fistula had been done previously.

Central venous occlusion is due to hyperphasia of intima secondary to hyperdynamic circulation (AV fistula). This progressed to fibrosis. Also thrombosis occurs due to stagnation of blood flow in central veins.
