Cramping Calf Muscle

36 years old male with complain of cramping calf muscle pains since 2 weeks. There is history of loose stools since few weeks. But he says it gets better if he takes medicine and is not bothersome. He is vata pitta prakriti. Agni bala vishama jihva sama Mala sama drava mala Can this be due to electrolyte imbalance or due to aama in koshtha?

think this is the case of vata pitta dushti,,so give laxative,,,vatahar abhyanga,and swedan,,with yashtimadhu churna,avipattikar churna,yogendra rasa and balarishta
Yes, electrolyte Imbalance may be the reason.... Advise for Electral and ORS + zink Chitrakadi Vati
It may be due to electrolyte imbalance , so advice Sr.Electrolyte investigation to rule out.

It's due to both electrolyte imbalance and aama in koshta.. As aama doesn't allow nutrition to get absorbed by intestinal villi... Inturn cause nutritional deficiencies.. N the same aama cause loose stools which cause electrolyte imbalance.. Loose stools can cause imbalance in the electrolyte causing loss of minerals disturbing the fine balance. Increase in the other type of minerals can lead to muscular cramps. The management is to replenish the fluids as suggested by @Dr. Hemant Adhikari and find the cause of loose stools or any other associated disorder.
