Chest pain with hemoptysis
Chief Complaint A 43 y/o female presents with sudden onset left sided chest pain and hemoptysis with approximate 5 ounces of blood. History She smokes occasionally and does not drink. Investigations Hb: 11.2 g/dl WBC: 6,450 per mm3 Hematocrit 38% Platelet: 358500 per mm3 BUN: 9 mg/dl Serum creatinine: 0.8 mg/dl LFT normal Sputum test: Pseudomonas aeruginosa present Chest x ray shows increased opacity in the left upper lung. CT shows bronchiectasis. Treatment Advise your opinion
Needs further investigation and evaluation to know exact cause of hemostasis and it's management BS antibiotics iv bd. Cough expectorant. Symptomatic treatment.

Consider PTB / bronchiectasis Fungal ball Malignancy PAE Viral pneumonia.
Bronchiectasis only sameerpannag ras + hemgarbha potali + suvarnasutshekar can work in small quantity given repeated times
Consider as pul kochs/ bronchiactesis Iv antibiotics Homeostatic management
Hemostasis antibiotics may be brochodilators
Haemoptysis is a symptoms of chronic bronchitis...so my diagnosis is chronic bronchitis....Rx antibiotic...sulfahydryl-acetylcysteine+acebrofylline....cough expectorant... homeostatic management and symptomatic management
Rx Tranaxamic acid 500 bd Grillinctus L TDS Inj Ceftraxone 1gm OD Analgesic
