Pleural effusion
@@ Chief Complaints Chest pain for last 1 month History 17 years male previous history of pulmonary Koch and presented with left sided chest pain increased on deep inspiration. Not associated with fever and cough. Previous history of abdominal surgery in childhood but no records available. Chest X-ray show blunting of costophrenic angle and no lymphadenopathy and no fibrosis no cavitation. Sputum fir AFB FOR 3 days negative Montoux 18*18 Hb 7.6 g/dl
Possibly left pleural effusion. Adv USG guided pleurocentesis. Medical management accordingly.
Yes sir I advised and pleural fluid report is nothing suggestive

30YM diagnosed to have Viral fever - Dengue NS1 reactive who was admitted in hopsital on Rx c/o pleuritic chest pain, o/e crepts+, USG showed pleural collection. Aspirate was purulent and hemorrhagic. Analysis report enclosed. Can anyone interpret the data below and how to manage this further??
