Progressive mechanical dysphagia in an elderly with anorexia and weight loss and barium showing a filling defect in lower esophagus, first differential is a esophageal carcinoma. Do an EGD with biopsy f/b CT thorax + abdomen for staging. Can do an EUS for local staging.
