Congenital heart diseases

Mother brought her 7 days ASYMPTOMATIC baby for icterus/jaundice. On auscultation murmur was found and echo showed central muscular VSD of size 2.3mm.Is surgical intervention needed??

Give the patient Dixin n furoped drops. Wait n watch. Most of recover by 1 year of age.

Surgery after 2 years, if size increases, most of the time VSD closes by 2 yrs of age. Council pt, and paeds cardiologist opinion. No need of surgery now
