Cracking or crunchiching sound in knee joint is caused by...* Artheritis..**Osteo Arteritis... Knee Arteritis... Pattelo Femoral pain syndrome...** Torn Maniscus.. Crepitus is caused by the rubbing of cartilage on the joint surface or other soft tissues around the knee during joint movement. ... The crunching you hear likely is due to the cartilage in your knee becoming rough, so the bones cannot slide as easily in the joint as they normally do.

IT'S A..CASE OF.. ? CREPITUS.. IF IT'S ASYMPTOMATIC..THEN.. IT'S..NORMAL..DON'T NEED'S T/T.. OTHER CAUSES.. * ARTHRITIS.. * OA.. * PATELLA-FEMORAL SYNDROME.. NEED'S.. * X-RAY STUDY.. * EXPERTS OPINION..

Get his X-Ray done. Osteoarthritis many times don’t have pain. CT scan of knee may be useful tool.. after XRay.
