1) B.Ca presented as brassy cough 2) steroid induced diabetes

Mr E 51 Male hospitalised for 1) cough >15 days 2) urine sugar +++ cough was described as brassy for which he was prescribed Tab decadron (which relieved him of cough & so he continued it!!! On routine testing his urine revealed 3+ sugar DISCUSSION. We can understand that Steroids caused the diabetes TO come back to the case a chest x ray revealed MEDIASTInAL widening Subsetly a CT chest revealed a growth compressing the bronchus (& thereby the brassy cough ) He underwent surgery followed by chemo & was asymptotic for two years (+ OHA for diabetes) He was then brought to Emergency for Seizures A CT brain revealed METS in brain for which radiotherapy was given
