Answer is B A Mid- Diastolic Murmur of mitral stenosis is a low- pitched, rumbling, diastolic murmur, heard best at the apex with the patient in the left lateral recumbent position. It has a presystolic accentuation that is lost in atrial fibrillation due to the absence of effective atrial contraction The murmur is accentuated by mild exercise carried out just before auscultation. Mid- diastolic murmur is also heard in: * tricuspid stenosis * left atrial myxoma * Austin Flint murmur in aortic regurgitation * Carey Coombs murmur in acute rheumatic fever
