Patient came with the cc of redness of eye with pain. This problem persists for 2 days.Diagnosis & management please/

Probably bacterial conjunctivitis if there is mucopurulent discharge, rx is moxifloxacin eyedrops 6 times. Can be viral conjunctivitis if watery discharge with associated systemic complain is present, rx is moxifloxacin + dexamethasone eyedrop 4 times
Ask for associated cough and cold,any watery or mucoid discharge. Check for preauricular lymph nodes,corneal sensations. If everything is ok Start ciplox0.3%eye drops 6times/day Refresh eye drops 5times/day Reassurance.
Viral conjunctiviti olopetadine eye/d tab vit c ,diclofen lukeworm water sponging will recover in 5 to 7 days
