Observation Look for complications like torsion, infarction, intestinal obstruction and volvulus. If these complications occur, or when child is older and fit for surgery, even without complications, laparoscopic excision of the cyst can be done electively.

Asymptomatic mesenteric cyst not very big may be left as such with followup watch if progressive or doesnot resorbed May be considered to marsuperisation

The treatment of choice is the complete surgical excision of the cyst, which may need to be associated with bowel or pancreatic resection or splenectomy, depending on the location of the cyst.
