Sounds like traumatic coccydynia. Palpate tip of coccyx for pain on pressure. Xray sacrum and coccyx to rule out fracture or subluxation of segments. Avoid pressure on the area which sitting For office work,use a commercially available center hole cushion. It should subside in a month. Also assess severity of injury to rule out higher level injuries. Usual mechanism is fall on buttocks. Analgesics Chymoral

Complete bed rest Injection Hydrocortisone one vial ,Injection xylocain 2%,and Injection Hydralage one vial mixed and give at pain site
Strict bed rest for 2to3 weeks Local icepacks NSAIDs Sos inj steroid locally Avoid sitting in cross legs
