Aetiology of LP is idiopathic hence relief is seen with oral as well local steroids but your question about recurrence is difficult as recurrences are seen

SUGGESTIVE. OF LICHEN. PLANUS ADVISABLE... .. TOPICAL CORTICOSTEROID WITH .. ORAL. CORTICOSTEROID IN. A. TAPERED. DOSAGES

Topical steriod till totally resolve and systemic carry on after totally resolve for 1 month or more. Topical application is more important than systemic.

Which topical steroid sir, clobetasol or Halobetasol?
