Dose of Linagliptin is 5mg OD,can it be given 2.5mg BD too available in combination of Metformin?
Linagliptin has half life of more than 12 hours and prolonged duration of action Therefore, it is given in once a day regimen Though it can be given as 2.5 mg BD dose, but it is more convenient to give as once a day dose, this will reduce forgotten dosage and increase compliance of patient for taking medicine
