Ovarian Fibroma

A women presented with abdominal pain and fullness , on further diagnostic evaluation it is confirmed that she has a enormous ovarian fibroma which is in pine apple size. Usually ovarian fibromas are rare ,benign tumors of ovaries. Commonly seen in 50years aged peri menopausal or post menopausal women. They are not causing any symptoms though some times they may present as pelvic pain and fullness when we have association with ovarian torsion And we can rule out MEIGS SYNDROME.where we have traid of ovarian fibroma, ascites, pleural effusion. Usually it is diagnosed by Ultrasound,CT scan ,MRI imaging modalities. And it is treated by removing surgically.
