@Dr. Hemant Adhikari Sir, Nice presentation on Amalaki, the list of medicines prepared from Amalaki is numerous but the most famous are - Triphala Churnam and Chywanprasham as told by @Dr. Aniruddha Lele Sir. Amalaki has 5 Rasas ( 5 types of taste felt by taste buds except Salty one ), nicely explained by @Dr. Pratibha Nawani Ma'am. Madhura is the " AnuRasa" ( Secondary taste which follows the primary one ). The Secrecy about Amalaki is that - In Odisha, A festival called as "Aalan Navami" is celebrated mostly on the months of November Acc. to its Odia name " Aalan". In this festive, we worship Amalaki tree and a place near Puri i.e. in SakshiGopal Temple, " The Lotus feets of Radha Rani has unveiled once in a year on this special occasion " called as " Radha Pada Darshanam".
