New Dental Guidelines issued on 19/05/2020

All Healthcare professional are at high risk in this COVID-19 Pandemic situation. The role of Dental professionals in preventing the transmission of COVID-19 is critically important as Dentists are in close contact with the patient’s oral cavity, saliva and blood. MOHFW has issued new guidelines on 19/05/2020 for Dentists to work in COVID-19 situation. Which described following points. In CONTAINMENT ZONE: Clinics will remain close. In RED ZONE: Only Emergency dental procedures. In ORANGE AND GREEN ZONE: a) Provide dental consults only. b) Dental operations should be restricted to only EMERGENCY (which increase the patient’s death risk) & URGENT treatment procedures (Which needs dental treatment but don't increase the patient’s death risk.
