Urban population is competitively more conscious about breast despite of that it's a considerable no ,lack of time ,mental stree lack of proper examination or irregular visit to doctor and food habits mostly junk food may be some factors including hormonal. Proper education and regular awareness and examination can be a solution.

The problem with breast cancer in India is late diagnosis.. Patients ignore any lumps they feel or are shy in expressing that they have any lump.. Also self examination helps in early diagnosis..which patients r not aware of.. Proper education and creating awareness will help in early diagnosis and better prognosis

Breast cancer persists long before diagnosis in our country as there is lack of medical knowledge, mass is usually painless, and women health is least priority. We need awareness programmes to be conducted more so among rural population
