just symptomatic treatmeng . no role of antivirals . until unless encephalitis suspected . give tab sinarest 1 tab thrice daily . tab celin 500 mg twice daily . nasivion nasal spray . plenty of oral fluids .
As patient is 30 years male with no co - morbidities- just symptomatic treatment is required 1.Oral fluid intake in moderation 2.Complete bed rest for 4- 5 days 3.Tab fexofenadine 180 mg O.D and decongestants 5.Paracetamol S.O.S 6.If severe nasal symptoms- decongestant nasal spay 7.No need to give anti- virals in simple flu

Flu Steaming Gargales Anticold Paracetamol Sos if symptoms advances than antibiotics

A 40yrs of female patient admitted with the c/o high grade fever, neck stiffness, slurred speech, diplopia, confused, irrelevant talking. Did MRI(plain)brain and started on antiviral, anticonvulsant, mannitol and steroid. After a few days patient has developed paraplgia, did Spectroscopy. Report says pontine glioma. What will be the further plan,management and prognosis?

a pt.2yrs old having a fever intermittent since 3-4days..presenting with dyspnoea ...spo2=71% . ..after hospitalisation repeated convulsive attack occur ...pt.react only while forcefull stimulation ...here after hospitalisation o2 therapy,iv fluid,inj ceftriaxone1gm bd,inj .amikacin 100mg bd inj gardenal inmaintanace dose,inj.histac ,nebulisation 8 hrly will given... o2 therapy omit since 5hr but pt.is still react on forcefull stimuli,excessive expectoration from mouth inspite of repeatedly sucction.... so plz give us to your expert opinion for further treatment of this child....
