FNAC OF ANTERIOR LEG SWELLING

65 y male c/o swelling in antero medial aspect of middle one third right leg since 8_9 months Chief Complaints Pain and swelling in middle one third of right leg History No significant past history Vitals Weight 60 kg.BP 130/90 mmhg ,HR 82/min.GC average. Physical Examination O/E 3.0x2.9 cm soft cystic swelling in antero medial aspect of middle one third of right leg . Investigations CBC ,RBS,B urea,S creatinine,HIV ,FNAC were advised. All blood tests WNL..FNAC was done 1.5 ml blood mixed creamish purulent aspirate was obtained.. Diagnosis The smears were H&E stained .The smears show acute and chronic inflammatory cells comprising of polymorphs,mononuclear cells, eosinophils, macrophages and some multinucleated giant cells amidst the necrotic background ..organizing abscess. Management The surgeon made the clinical diagnosis of Neurofibroma..
