FNAC OF CERVICAL SWELLING

FNAC OF CERVICAL SWELLING Chief Complaints 15 y body came to the Ent surgeon, was having Acute tonsillitis grade 3.c/o pain and swelling in right lateral cervical region History He is already taking ATT Vitals 36.1 c ,110/70 mmhg ,74/min HR. Physical Examination On examination B/l cervical swellings present.and Acute tonsillitis grade 3 present Investigations He was advised CBC,ESR ,Peripheral smear examination and FNAC of cervical swelling..CBC within normal limits,ESR 40 and no immature and abnormal cells on peripheral smear examination. Fnac was done.,O/e 3.1x2.0 cm discrete ,firm right mid lateral cervical swelling ..has been present since 2_3 months...scanty blood mixed cheesy aspirate obtained on aspiration. Diagnosis The H&E stained smears show polymorphous population of small mature lymphocytes and reactive lymphoid cells comprising of centroblasts,centrocytes and immuno immunoblasts amidst the necro hemorrhagic background..Many epitheloid cell granulomas and clusters are also seen.NECROTIZING GRANULOMATOUS LYMPHADENITIS/TUBERCULAR LYMPHADENITIS.... Management Advised clinical correlation and CBNAAT

Without necrosis, i think u cant say Necrotizing?
