Classical presentation on interdental gingival hypertrophy/hyperplasia with attachment loss. Suggestive of chronic plaque induced gingivitis . Before starting the prophylactic protocol of subgingival scaling root planing etc. Put the pt on a regimen of Cap Pantocid DSR OD*10 days. Tab Augmentin Duo 625 1-0-1 *5 days Ac Tab metrogyl 400 1-1-1* 5 days pc M/w Hexidine 15ml dil with 5ml water rinsing for a min twice a day post meals. Ointment Metrogyl DG gel 1-1-1 *15 days for thorough gum massage leaving for 10 mins post massage twice before brushing once post lunch. Tab Zincovit 1-0-1*10 days 2 hrs post meal Tab Limcee 1-1-1*30 days. Complete prophylaxis in atleast 3 sittings over a gap of 7 days in between . Lots of water in the diet with curd /yoghurt. Lastly & most importantly always present a case history ryt from age sex etc in a detailed order & do read up for the causes of hyperplasia specially drug induced

Any systemic illness for which the patient is being treated ? Though it mostly looks like plaque infused gingival overgrowth. Rx: professional deep scaling and reinforce oral hygiene practices and evaluate with time

This is a case of chronic inflammatory gingival enlargement can be treated by complete scaling and root planing. Advice chlorhexidine mouth wash for 2 weeks. And tab doxycycline must be prescribed only after through subgingival scaling
