HIV Vaccine Awareness Day
HIV continues to be a major global public health issue that affects millions of people worldwide. USFDA has approved Cabotegravir injection as HIV medication that is administered every two months. There are currently more choices than ever before, for lowering the risk of HIV infection or transmission. Prevention for HIV, condom use, low-risk sex, and only having partners with the same HIV status, are all effective ways to lower risk. Despite the availability of HIV prevention strategies, why is there an increase in new HIV infections?
