Well the issue with new treatment surgical procedures is comapared to older procedures the Surgeons are not acostomed to it And Yes I do agree with the fact that HoLEP is a better alternative to older TURP for BPH and for Postsurgical bleeding.
HoLEP is a new technology for BPH is a good procedure than TURP but limited to fewer centers in india and few persons even doctors are fully know the procedure safr and post operative complications are less than TURP . Cost and availability will be at question.
