How Does One Diagnose PCOS?
There is no test to definitively diagnose PCOS. The diagnosis is of exclusion, with other androgen excess and ovulatory dysfunction disorders to be ruled out. Guidelines from the Endocrine Society recommend using the Rotterdam criteria for diagnosis. Share you views on this most common disorder of reproductive age women........

A 27yr. old female pt. came to me with c/o amenorrhoea since last 4month. *pt. was on hormonal t/t for last 4-5 year.bt then she decided to take ayu. medicine. *usg showing b/l pcod. no thyroid...no constipation..no acidity. sugar is normal.odema++ on feet. pt. is not so mch fatty.appetite is good. hb-7gm. initially i hv given aam pachan medicine with kosth sudhi nd after dt i gave her shatavari,satpushpa,guduchi churan,krishan jirak kwath,chandra prabha vati,leunarax cap,rajpravartni vati,kumarya aasav nd sitz bath with dashmool kwath,jyotishmati oil,dadimaavleh,amyron syp....all these medicine according to need atleast for 2 mnth...nd she got periods. nd it was regular for 2mnth bt now the problm is that from last 2 mnth she is complaing the same condition of amenorrhoea.now wht t/t i should go for...plz doctors suggest ur valuble nd experienced suggestion. she z not ready for any of panchkarma procedure.

A 60 year old male patient k/c/o ca esophagus on chemotherapy. yesterday he went for his normal chemo was found toh have hyponatremia was give sodium correction after after 15 mins he had tachypnea with low spo2 was given o2 and had fever blood culture was positive for dengue today with ascites with low urine output was shifted to icu usg showed the below findings pls provide any proable diagnosis
