5 - 10 mm of Hg It is surprising that 5 mg of Amlodipine reduces blood pressure by only 5 - 10 mm of Hg So to say, those with moderate hypertension, 160 - 180 mm of Hg, will essentially require treatment with at least two antihypertensive medication

Amlodepine reduces systolic B.P on an average 12 mm of Hg and diastolic about 7 mm of Hg - but there is specific about - as there are other factors also operating like life style , dietary restrictions and exercise

No thumb rule as such . But one can expect reduction of 10 mm/Hg in Systolic & 5 mm /Hg in Diastolic.

Varies from person to person. People with advanced atherosclerotic changes may show a moderate drop only. Younger patients with pliant arteries may show a greater drop.

SYSTOLIC.. 12.4 MM HG .. DIASTOLIC.. 7.2 MM HG ..

Thank you doctor
